2 Years in Business! {A Look Back at 2022}

This month marks two years of Three Notch’d Nonprofit Solutions! As I celebrate the continued growth of my business, I have immense gratitude for my clients, whose trust and collaborative spirit have enabled me to share in the impactful work they are doing across the country. Below is a snapshot of what I’ve been able to accomplish through my consulting practice.

I’ve been privileged to be a small puzzle piece for thirteen incredible organizations in 2022. Some highlights of this past year include:

advising an Executive Director on a very personal grant proposal for a 4-month sabbatical, a time for her to take a break and refuel her drive to make community change, after her social services organization has seen the demand for services absolutely skyrocket steadily since March 2020...

…guiding an international membership organization through their first major strategic planning process, including learning from current and lapsed members, an in-person convening in Washington, DC, and a heavy dose of collaborative work sessions…

…securing multi-year funding for scholarships for child care businesses nationwide to access free management software and professional support to ensure that more children have access to strong and thriving early learning environments...

2022 was a year of growth, and I’m looking forward to what 2023 has in store. If your organization is in need of support, I’d love to hear from you.

Hi, I’m Ellen Spangler. With nearly twenty years in nonprofits, I’ve seen the good, the bad and the ugly. My first love will always be museums, but I have also cherished my work in education and membership organizations. I’ve worked as a Development Director, Communications Director, Educator, Trainer and Project Manager, and now own and operate a consulting business, Three Notch’d Nonprofit Solutions.
